NOTD: Color Club Revvvolution

Hey Ladies,

Thought I'd share my current obsession in nail polish with you all, It is seriously one of the most unique nail polishes I've ever come across.

On application it looks like a very simple metallic black, however when any kind of light shines on your nails it transforms & reflects the colours of the rainbow back at you, it truly is amazing & I always get questions on the shade when I wear it.  It takes two coats to get even & is fairly chip resistant with a top coat.

I've heard so many people be disappointed by OPI's My Private Jet, if you were I suggest you trying this as it's an amazing shade.

Hope you're all having an amazing bank holiday, I did end up watching the Royal wedding & getting all patriotic during Jerusalem. Of course I must state the obvious that she looked stunning & the dress was perfect, I thought she managed to be a Princess without compromising her simple style.

In's & Out's

Hey Ladies

Sorry things are so quiet on the blogging & YouTubing front at the moment, my Internet is broken & I'm currently using my Hotspot on my iphone to write this!! (you can use your Internet connection on your phone on your computer, god bless Apple) so I thought I'd do a quick 'In's & Out's' post for you before I go to work.

River Island Sandals
I went on about them in my Chelsea Girls post & caved & got them, they are just so nice & perfect for a night out they really stand out. They do hurt a lot though, one of my toes was numb for about 4 days after wearing them, no pain no gain!!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
I've been using this for a few days now & although I'm not new to it as I used it when I was younger I forgot how brilliant it actually is, my skin is so soft after every use & it is a great all round cleanser, my full review will be coming up on this & a few other Liz Earle products. My skin care routine is doing my skin proud at the moment!

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua
I finally bought the full size of this foundation & I'm glad I have, it is just the most natural looking foundation I have found that gives me the look I love with a decent amount of coverage as well! My skin is really behaving at the moment so this is just the perfect coverage for me. It will be hard to beat over the summer!

Mac Satin Taupe Eyeshadow
I've been loving using this all over the lid during the day, it's smoky & sultry without being too heavy & dark for the day time, it definitely has gotten me out of my neutral eye rut I was in!

Topshop Pen Liner
I love pen liners, they are the easiest way of applying eyeliner & get you the most sharp precise lines that look like you've spent ages on your makeup when in fact you have spend 10 seconds drawing the line on. However I find it very difficult to use pen liners as they almost always smudge on me, I've tried countless brands & so far Topshop has been the only one bar one (which costs a fortune) that has worked on me & at such a low price, it looks brilliant on me with the Satin Taupe for a real cat eye look!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Don't get me wrong this is one of my all time favourite foundations ever, it has the most amazing coverage & staying power which I have found unbeatable however as the weather has become warmer & warmer I have found myself using any other foundation I can (before I bought the Chanel I used my Nars Sheer Glow) It's just too heavy & 'makeup looking' for this beautiful weather we're having at the moment, so it's been relegated to a makeup drawer & out of my makeup bag!

Tigi S Factor Silky Smooth Moisture Serum
I had such high hopes for this as my leave in conditioner, I love Tigi products & never really found a disappointing product until now, this is so sticky & leaves the most horrible residue in your hair, most leave in conditioners don't leave a trace of the product when your hair is dry but this leaves you with crunchy hair & it's not pleasant! Fail whale for me!!

Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural
I used to love this product, I used it every day & though it was 'IT' I'm sure you know the pattern we ladies have of buying a similar product & instead of waiting until you've finished the old one cracking open the brand new shiny product. Well when I got my Mac Studio Fix Powder I cracked it open & my skin finish natural got lost in a drawer somewhere, I rescued it a couple of weeks ago when going for a more natural look thinking this will deliver & you know what, It really really doesn't do anything for me anymore. We all know it's rubbish for pictures but I found as a setting powder on me now it really doesn't cut it compared with the Studio Fix!! Back in the drawer it goes, I'll take it on holiday I guess to use it up!!

Hope you're all having a lovely Easter & bank holidays, I'm working most of them which I actually don't mind to be honest!! Let me know you're 'In's & Out's' at the moment, you know I'm nosey!!

Product of The Week

Hey ladies,

Last week I attended a release party for V05 & Tresemme hair care. V05 are relaunching the whole range & it all looks & smells great!!

One of their new offerings is their Miracle Concentrate.

What I found interesting is that both brands have released affordable Argon oils so you don't have to splash out on very expensive brands to reap the benefits of this ingredient.

V05 Miracle Concentrate is an intensive leave-in treatment elixir with Argon Oil

It claims to;
'Intensively condition & help repair dry, damaged or frizzy hair. Add radiant shine & reduce drying time & damage caused by blow drying'

All I can say is that it smells amazing & does it's job at making your hair more manageable & easier to brush after washing. I used this the morning after the release party where my hair was backcombed quite a bit & it made it effortless to brush out after washing it!

I asked the difference between the V05 oil & the Tresemme one at the launch & I was told the V05 is more a treatment whereas the Tresemme is more a finishing treatment so there's room for both in your hair care routine.

I really can't recommend this enough, frizz is gonna be eliminated for good!!

I hope you're all having a lovely week & looking forward to all the bank holidays over the next couple of weeks!!

Things I'm Loving

Hey Ladies,

Since I now do my monthly favourites on my YouTube channel I thought I'd show you some of my favourite things at the moment!!

My Eye Combo I'm Loving
Mac All That Glitters Eyeshadow with Benefit Bad Gal Eyeliner smudged on the lash line, it's really effortless & looks fab, a great alternative to winged liner in the morning as you don't have to worry about the line being perfect.

Conditioner I'm Loving
Bumble & Bumble Deep is just so amazing at repairing your damaged hair and giving your hair an amazing shine, it was my Product of The Week last week & certainly continues to be so this week.

Skin Care I'm Loving
Liz Earle New Clear Skin Set is amazing value at the moment, for £20.65 you get the Deep Cleansing Mask which reduces oil and rids your skin of impurities without being too harsh, the Gentle Face Exfoliator which smells like menthol and really gently makes your skin smooth as silk, you also get the spot roll on which works really really well although tea tree oil is my most hated smell I do put up with it for how well it works & a couple of sponges (to remove the mask) & a white headband as well. How brilliant is that for £20.65 I am definitely buying some Cleanse & Polish today because this set has got my skin in tip top condition again! Love It, It will be featuring in a new series on my YouTube very soon.

Eye Treatments I'm Loving
Origins Ginseng Eye Cream actually lives up to its great reputation and it is a really effective eye cream for brightening the under eye whilst being nice and light for under your makeup during the day.

My eyes have been craving a bit more nourishment at night so Rodial Glam Balm has been doing the trick, I just spread a little over the eye area before I go to bed & wake up with refreshed none dry eyes. I also use it on my lips & my rash above my lip when it rears its ugly head & it basically rids me off it in two nights!! Great product.

So those are a few things I'm loving at the moment, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend in the sun & put on your sun cream so no burnt shoulders! Let me know the things you're loving at the moment!!

Product of The Week!

Hey Ladies,

When I was in London last week my hair was feeling awful, perhaps the tube trips just made it frizz I don't know but I had the opportunity to have a speed styling session in a salon called Windle & Moodie and once it was re-styled it was looking good so I decided to buy a deep conditioner to help my hair whilst I was there.

Bumble and Bumble Deep

They Say;

'This hydrating mask contains protein that repairs your hair, making it more manageable, while silk smoothens and conditions it. Deep Treatment is an ideal revitaliser for your hair as it provides vital moisture control.'

They recommend leaving it on 20mins but I actually slept in it & all I can say is that it is amazing! My hair felt so much softer after using it & more manageable and the biggest difference I can see is that my hair is still very soft even after washing it twice more since using it & I haven't conditioned it.

I got the travel sized one so normally you get 150ml for around £20, I wanted to try it before buying a full sized one so got the smaller one. When purchasing an expensive conditioner you will notice one thing which makes them worth the money before even the extra benefits of the conditioning & repairing they deliver, the difference is that they wash out of your hair without leaving any residue which means you can condition all your hair without worrying about greasy roots.

I highly recommend this product & am gonna be trying out some more Bumble and Bumble I am that impressed. I hope you've all had a lovely weekend, mine has been spent mostly asleep recovering after my trip to London and playing with my new Nikon D90 DSLR camera (I took the picture above with it!) Get recommending me your favourite Bumble and Bumble products and deep conditioners!!
