BUY THIS: Joico K-Pak Hair Repair System

Hey Ladies,

If you have dry/damaged hair I seriously want you to click on this link & buy this hair repair system by Joico because it is probably the best thing i've put on my hair in a very long time, if not ever.

Joico K-Pak Hair Repair System

"This professional 4 Step hair repair system repairs damage caused by thermal styling, chemical treatments and environmental aggressors such as sun and wind and dry or humid climates. The high-performance, professional K-Pak products in this 4 Step System features Joico’s exclusive Quadramine Complex which replaces lost amino acids by utilising the proper amino acid composition"
My hair has been in pretty good condition recently after getting a few inches cut off last month however after re-ombré'ing it on Sunday (will hopefully do a separate post about it) I knew it was the perfect time to try this hair repair system.

There are four steps in the kit and for each step you need to leave the treatment in for 5 minutes, rinsing and towel drying between steps (nothing extreme with the towel drying just so its not soaking)

Step One:
K-Pak Chelating Shampoo - a clarifying shampoo which is designed to remove all product build up in you hair as well as chlorine and mineral deposits if you live in a hard water area. It is a really nice shampoo if you're after a clarifying shampoo as it doesn't dry out the hair as much as some do.

Step Two:
K-Pack Cuticle Sealer -  This step is supposed to smooth and tighten the cuticle and restore the hair's natural pH balance. It's quite a thin consistency compared to the other steps and after I applied it initially I didn't think it would do much but I left it in the 5 or so minutes and I could feel a massive difference when I was washing out, my hair felt much smoother and less tangled.

Step Three:
K-Pak Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor - This next step is designed to rebuild the structure of the hair from within so that it is smoother and stronger.  If you was ever prescribed Amoxacilin when you were a kid you'll probably know the smell of artificial banana well, personally I can't abide the smell and this smells exactly like it but it is probably the best deep conditioner I've ever used so I am willing to hold my breath. The difference this made to my hair was remarkable and I do not use those words lightly, it went from feeling pretty dry & straw like to feeling like no bleach had been near my hair. Amazing stuff!

Step Four:
K-Pak Intense Hydrator - The final step is supposed to replenish moisture, improve elasticity and seal the cuticle. After the previous three steps this was the icing on the cake and once I had rinsed it out my hair felt healthier than before I had bleached it.

After i'd washed out all the bleach my hair felt like straw, straw that had been left in the Sahara for a year but after these four steps felt like new, like it had never seen bleach, straightening irons or a hair dryer in its life. Once it was blow dried my hair looked shiny, healthy & felt like silk.

If you have overly processed hair damaged hair I am ordering you to get your behind onto BeautyBay & order this kit, each bottle is 100ml & the kit is £15.95. Probably the best money I've spent in a long time.

Each step is available full size from £11 - £15ish so the kit is a great way to try the range out. I will be purchasing each full size for certain & I've already eyed the 1 litre bottle of the reconstructor. The four step system is a bit of a hassle and time consuming to do but is totally worth it, of course each step can be used separately day to day & if your hair is needing a bit of TLC you can combine all the steps for total hair salvation!

Have you tried anything from the Joico brand? Let me know any recommendations, I urge you to purchase this kit you will NOT be disappointed!

As a side not this is not a sponsored post & I purchased the kit with my own money & the links aren't affiliate links. In case you were wondering. I just think its a brilliant product!

REVLON Sweet Boutique is Back

Hey Ladies,

Now I get some good parcels as a blogger which I am always grateful for but I have to say one came to my door step today which is pretty hard to beat (companies of course are welcome to try ... I kid ... I kid), anyway it was sent to me to commemorate/promote the return of the Sweet Boutique from Revlon.

Revlon Colorburst Lipbutter in Raspberry Pie* & a couple of other treats.
I have been trying to wear the bolder Autumn/Winter lip shades recently, whilst I can prance around my house in them comfortably actually walking out the house is a challenge & as I don't tend to go out much at night it needs to be a daytime trend for me. One swipe on my lips & I happily wore this shopping today, it's nice & bright but doesn't look overdone especially with simple makeup.

The other lip butter in the picture is Berry Smoothie which I have featured before, a less loud pink which is perfect when you want slightly bolder eyes.

The Sweet Boutique will be back on their Facebook page from November 21st until December 4th where they will be giving 100 lip butters away each day.

Now you get to see a whole lot of my face, pouts & all!

Pout 1
Smile
Pout 2
As you can tell I pretty much LOVE this lip butter & dare I say it kind of wish that Revlon did one that was more of a blackberry shade to see how far I could go into this Autumn/Winter shade, any of you rocking these shades? Which are your favourites?

REVIEW: Total Hair Experts Make It Big

Hey Ladies,

It seems these hot air stylers are everywhere at the moment & so thought i'd share my thoughts on the one i've been trying out recently!

Total Hair Experts Make It Big*

I am the laziest person when it comes to my hair, day to day I blow dry it roughly & that's about it however if I am going out for the evening I do like to put some sort of effort in so thought a hot air styler would come in handy.

The first time I used this I used it on towel dried hair as I have seen people do with other brands of these type of stylers & I got a little impatient as it was taking forever so gave up & just blow dried it. What struck me about this particular model is the barrel doesn't actually move like others on the market, initially I thought that it was a real negative & then realised it probably wouldn't be as I am likely to get my long hair caught in a moving barrel.

I kind of dismissed it & thought it was a little pointless for me because I have too much hair for it to be worth while doing even for a night out. However I got home from work one night & had to get ready to go out for dinner but didn't have time to re-wash my hair so I thought i'd try using this on my dry hair to perk it up a little. It worked a treat and I realised that it is amazing for the day after your hair has been washed as it adds so much volume & bounce to limp tired hair.

All I do is spray my hair with some heat protector & then the hair section, wrap it round the barrel until its at my scalp, turn on the heat & leave for a few seconds & then push the green 'cool' button for a second & then hold in place for a few more seconds then release my hair and i'm left with fresh bouncy hair that looks like it has been freshly salon dried.

If you are in the market for this type of hair tool I really recommend this plus at the moment it is on offer for £16.50 so a total bargain.

Total Hair Experts are a new brand to the market & currently exclusive to Tesco stores, they have a few different hair tools in the range & currently they are all on offer so you can get some of them up to half price. I am definitely going to be looking at their curling tongues & their conical wand.

NEW: Liz Earle24 Days of Christmas from

Hey Ladies,

I usually get my birthday over & done with before I even contemplate the notion of Christmas but my Birthday is on Wednesday & I've pretty much bought all the Christmas presents I need to & gotten into the spirit with red glittery nails. Perhaps turning 26 is kicking my arse into being organised, I usually wait until 5pm Christmas Eve to buy most of the gifts! High 5 me!

Sadly now i'm 26 I won't be getting my usual chocolate advent calendar (boo!) however there seems to be lots of alternatives for us beauty junkies about to ease our pain!

Liz Earle 24 Days of Christmas *

I cannot describe how excited this made me when it turned up at my door step, not only is it perfect for me to have mini sizes of all my favourite Liz Earle products (there are a lot of them!) as I travel to London a lot these days & stay overnight at my boyfriends, I also get to try out products that I haven't tried so far like their hair care & a couple of their face masks!

I think this is the perfect pre-Christmas present for the one you love & maybe purchase a couple of full size products for the big day so it's a themed countdown! or if you love Liz Earle yourself & want to get someone hooked it would be an amazing introduction to the brand because unless you live near a John Lewis it is hard to get hold of. If Father Christmas answers my Christmas prayers Liz Earle will eventually be available in Boots because it will absolutely complete my life (I am actually very serious!)

You can pre-order it from Liz Earle here for £100 & check out their gift sets too they have something for every budget if the calendar is a bit out of your price range!

What are you hoping to unwrap on the big day? & what are your favourite Liz Earle products? I have a few new bits I need to review from their cosmetics as I love them all! (shock horror!!)

French Connection Ozlem Dress: Splurge vs Save

Hey Ladies,

So I fell head over heels in love with a dress, as soon as I saw it I thought Christmas party! Sadly I saw the price tag & wanted to cry! £250 is really not in my budget for one party dress even if the drinks are free on the night and so finding a suitable alternative was my goal, sadly it may be a great alternative for someone else because I don't think my GG boobies will fit in a size 14 dress but I thought it would be useful to post if anyone is looking for a killer Christmas party dress.

It may be a tad early for the holly but it's only a month til my Christmas office party so a girl needs to get planning & now apparently saving for the French Connection one! It MUST be mine! I'm going to hold my breath until someone buys it me, it always used to work when I was a kid.

Is anyone else planning their outfits or am I super early? (I've already bought half the gifts for the big day, what is wrong with me!? I usually go out on Christmas Eve in a last minute dash for gifts!)

'Tis the season to be organised apparently!
