Festive Friday: Stocking Fillers

Friday 29 November 2013

Hey Ladies,

The festive season is officially upon us, I wanted to do some gift guides this year so my first one contains some stocking fillers all below £20.

Diptyque Figuier Mini Candle £20 (Link)
I always swore to myself that I wouldn't spend big money on candles but of course giving them as gifts is totally fine and if I got one as luxurious as Diptyque in my stocking well I would be one happy reindeer on Christmas morning. The Figuier scent is suitable for burning in any room of the house, some people don't really enjoy sweet scented candles and I think this is highly unlikely to scare them off as it's so neutral, warm and inviting.

Bare Minerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 £16.75 (Link)
These little compacts are perfect for the beauty lover, they're very reasonably priced and there are loads of colour combinations; the one in the picture is called The Top Shelf which is a combination of a golden sand and warm bronze, two shades which will suit so many eye colours. The quality of these shadows are fantastic and I constantly use the one I have as its so compact in my makeup bag; A travellers dream combo.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream £19 (Link)
This is my bedside best friend; I reach for it just before bed and I haven't had any dry skin on my hands since the day I started this routine. If you have a gardener in the family or someone who works with their hands this will be a saviour; it is a very neutral smelling so suitable for all sexes and could very well be the most useful thing you could buy someone but still luxurious so they feel treated.

Lipstick Diamante Pens £3 (Link)
What woman doesn't love stationary? Especially diamanté covered lipstick pens. If you're looking for a secret santa gift these would be so cool to receive as a 'bonus' and they would have a nice little reminder every time they use it in the office of their lovely gift.

Essie Set in Stones £7.82 (Link)
Christmas and glitter go together like Santa and mince pies, Essie is my favourite brand of nail polish and Set in Stones is a fantastic edition to nail polish collections as it can transform any polish you layer it over. I guarantee it will be applied before the Turkey is out the oven.

Angel Face Botanicals Acai Berry Bath Salts £11 (Link)
After the hustle and bustle of shopping, the worrying about overcooking the potatoes and partying until you can't feel your feet relaxing baths are what January is made for, these bath salts will relax the body and mind without breaking the bank if you're looking to chill the house out after the madness.

Philosophy Spiced Gingerbread Cookie Shower Gel £12.60 (Link)
This is just meant to be purchased around this time of year whether it's for someone else or yourself. Philosophy shower gels make the whole house smell and I can't think of a warmer more inviting scent than gingerbread all year round let alone just for Christmas and let me tell you these bottles last and last so it's the gift that keeps on giving.

Have you started your shopping yet? I'm more a last minute grabber type consumer (I'd make the best Gypsy boy)
