REVIEW: REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask

Hey Ladies,

More skincare for you now & today it is by REN and their Invisible Pores Detox Mask, I am a huge REN fan so my expectations are always high and I having not tried their masks before I was rather keen to slap this on my face.
REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask*
'A detoxifying clay mask designed to reduce the appearance of pore size and leave the skin purified, smooth and toned.'
I pull this mask out when my skin is looking congested and feeling like it needs a good exfoliation, it is a clay based mask which dries on the skin & you are supposed to rub it off.

The rubbing off action seriously disturbs me, it just feels wrong & awful ... of course I do it, the instructions tell me to & I do it with as much gusto as I can manage for as long as I can stand. It seriously makes me shudder. I then remove the rest with a warm cloth & it leaves my skin feeling so soft, smooth and immediately brighter also it tightens quite a bit too which is always a bonus.

One thing this doesn't do is dry my face out and it never feels uncomfortable when it's on & so even though it is designed for combination to oily skins if you have a bit of congestion & have normalish skin I think this would be suitable.

At £18 [LINK] I think it's a good price for an effective mask especially considering the ingredients as REN have a policy of no nasties in their skin care so there are no artificial fillers in this bottle. REN is widely available online & in department stores these days so it's nice & easy to get hold of.

Have you tried any REN products, what's your favourite? I personally love their Radiance Perfecting Serum [LINK] and dying to try their Purity Cleansing Balm, it's definitely next on my hit list.

FREEBIE ALERT: Percy & Reed Volumising No Oil Oil

Hey Ladies,

I have heard a lot about the brand Percy & Reed but never tried any before as they're not exactly easy to get hold of so when I saw a few select products at a newsagents as a magazine freebie I grabbed one immediately.

For the grand sum of £2 you have the choice of the Volumising No Oil Oil, Shampoo, Conditioner or Finishing Polish (which i'm going back for) having just ran out of my current hair oil it couldn't have come at a better time.

I used the oil tonight & have to say i'm impressed with how smooth & silky my hair is, I don't think there's much volume to report home about so if you're after that i'd look elsewhere but for silky smooth locks you can't go wrong for £2.

So go out and get Glamour magazine and try out the brand if you haven't already, and if you have stock up & tell me what you're favourite products are, I think I should risk it & try the dry shampoo!!!
