I painted my nails ... again! So thought i'd pop a NOTD up & talk about the Illamasqua Body Electrics collection.
Illamasqua Jo'Mina Nail Polish
It is an amazing colour it was a bitch to take a photograph of in the end my Blackberry was the one that took the most accurate indication of the colour but still dulled it down, It is so vibrant and electric for lack of a better word. The formulation was odd I found when applying however it seemed to even itself out when drying which was baffling! I have a few Illamasqua polishes & I love the colours, they're all unique therefore justify the spending of £13 on a nail polish.Body Electrics
I got this lovely package from Illamasqua with the Jo'Mina nail polish and Liquid Metal in Surge
I love the polish as you can tell above, as for the liquid metal, it seems more liquidy than the other metals & not as rich or pigmented. A lovely pewter colour, it manages to be a golden silver green which is beyond my brain powers as to how its both silver & gold & green (i'm a sandwich short of a picnic clearly!)
I think this is possibly the liquid metal which has the least amount of uses as I don't think you could get away with it as a highlighter like the gold one, or a bronzer like the bronze one. It is a gorgeous colour so a lovely inner corner colour or lid colour or lower lash line colour, but most likely will need setting. I need to play around with it a little more to figure out a use for it!
The other items I have tried from the collections are the bronzers as I have them both in the bronzing duos, they are lovely bronzers, there's no glitter in it but a sheen of gold added so if you love the golden goddess look they are for you!
The visuals for the collection as per usual are stunning and pieces of art in themselves, personally no collection is going to beat the Sirens one for me as it was my perfect makeup look, bronzes & golds. However there are a few additional items i'd like as well as the ones I have from Body Electrics so watch out for them purchases!
Let me know if you're eyeing up any products for the collection!
Thanks for reading & i'll see you soon, hope you're having a lovely weekend!!
