July Favourites!

Sunday 8 August 2010

Hey Ladies,

I ideally would have liked to have done this as a YouTube video but i'm extremely lazy & that's the reason I haven't filmed my makeup tutorial this weekend plus I lost my Mac 210 eyeliner brush which I am gutted about, I use it everyday. I can't do any online spending (don't ask) & don't have a Mac near me so can't get a new one. Gutted!

Anyway on to my July Favourites!

Neal's Yard Orange Flower Facial Wash
This was recently in the Asos sale so I snapped it up, It smells gorgeous, very gentle & extremely effective. I very much enjoy using this product.

Mac Expensive Pink Eyeshadow
I purchased this at duty free & I am in love with it, pink is a colour I tend to avoid in all areas of life, I just think it doesn't suit me (apart from hot pink lips on a night out) On first sight this is a darkish pink, once its swatched its a pink but has a peachy gold sheen to it so looks amazing on me! Have been wearing it everyday on its own! love it!

Paul Mitchell Super Strong Liquid Treatment
I just randomly added this to my shopping cart one day to get free shipping & I am so glad I did. You just spray it in to damp hair and it is supposed to strengthen & repair the hair. It works! My hair becomes super easy to brush through & feels thicker & stronger!

Mac Face & Body Foundation
This has been getting some attention recently & I'm glad it has, I've been using this for ages, I have 2 bottles of it, a darker one I always use when I'm tanned & then my normal skin tone for when my skins behaving & I can get away with a lighter coverage. It stays put all day & looks unbelievably natural & is great if you're not a fan of tinted moisturisers.

Bare Minerals Matte Foundation
I love this as a setting powder for either a tinted moisturiser or the Face & Body if I want a little more coverage. I hate mineral makeup foundations on their own as they don't last more than 2 hours on my skin but as setting powders I love them.

StriVectin SD Eye Cream
I love this eye cream, it's really nourishing without sitting on the skin ages, so I can use it in the morning & it doesn't mess with my makeup. I can't speak about the benefits of reducing wrinkles or things like that as I'm 23 & don't have them, but I always say prevention is better than trying to fix later on.

So there are my favourites, pretty boring really but I've been wearing minimal makeup as i am tanned! If you want a full review on any of the products please let me know, also let me know your current favourites I love discovering new products!

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend, I personally haven't left the house, just relaxed!

  1. Great post! I love the attention that MAC Face & Body has been getting but i'm a bit wary about purchasing it because of the expiry date?
