Product of The Week!

Saturday 5 February 2011

Hey Ladies,

Another product of the week for you now, sorry it's a bit late I've had a busy week & not had time to think about what I've enjoyed using this week.

Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque

They say:

'A powerful masque of concentrated antioxidant vitamins to help skin recover from damage while enhancing barrier properties and promoting healthy tissue regeneration.'

I recently went for a Dermalogica facial & seriously was underwhelmed by it, yet I love their products, I think I didn't enjoy the treatment because I knew I could do it myself at home as they just use the products you can buy & which I had most of.

Anyway, I decided to purchase this after the facial because I knew the dreaded break out would occur after the facial as it always tends to do, however because she used products that I have used before my skin didn't freak out, but the moisturiser she applied wasn't enough so as soon as I was home, I ran the bath washed my face & applied this.

It is a great boost to you skin when you need it, whether aged 18 or 58 it makes no difference so please don't see the 'age smart' & be put off by it. If your skin is a bit lack lustre & needing some TLC slap this on for 15 minutes & you'll see the difference the next morning. It's a pale orange cream which doesn't set so I tend to leave it on until I can be bothered to wash it off (a good hour if i'm feeling lazy) & it turns a translucent orange shade on your face which makes me feel like all the creamy goodness has soaked into my face (obviously not true) but let me assure you this works and makes your skin brighter & overall calmer.

It's not the cheapest of masques I'll admit but you don't need loads & you only need to use it when your skin need a boost. The rrp is £33 for 75mls, however if you shop around you can find it much cheaper online.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend so far, I am gearing up to something unpleasant today & then a whole lot of tidying & cleaning tomorrow.

  2. Dermalogica facials are so pointless i swear, i feel the same as you - just buy the masque and you can give yourself loads of facials at home when they charge you like £30 to use £3 worth of product!!! x
