Birchbox: April 2014

Initially I was quite sceptical about the Beauty Box sample boxes but I have to say I quite enjoy the monthly surprise of what you get, of course some months are better than others but overall they are fairly consistent.

April's Birchbox I have to say did surpass itself and a little squeal was let out when I saw the contents; this month box is titled 'Good Enough To Eat' and contains:

Laura Mercier Ambre Vanillé Body Soufflé - I have the candle of this scent and believe me it smells good enough so the body soufflé is a definite bonus.

TheBalm Cosmetics How About Them Apples Cheek & Lip Cream - I have never tried anything from TheBalm and have heard great things so am looking forward to trying this.

Color Club Gala Gems Nail Polish - This is an amazing soft rose gold nail polish one I can't wait to apply, I love Color Club nail polishes and it looks like they've rebranded so hopefully the formulation hasn't changed.

Lord and Berry Couture Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil - Any makeup staple in a miniature size is welcome in my travel makeup bag so loved seeing this.

Yes To Cucumbers Facial Wipes - I haven't tried anything from the Yes To line before and although I am not a fan of face wipes I did need some for my holiday to take on the plane; Birchbox just saved me a lot of googling.

Lifestyle Extra: Propercorn Sweet Coconut & Vanilla - I have thus far resisted eating this, I'm a huge popcorn fan and with my healthy eating regime (am blogging about it soon) it fits in very nicely so I will be opening this on the bank holiday for an extra treat.

I think you'd agree that this month's Birchbox is top notch; I save all my sample sizes for travel and nights away so subscription boxes are really useful if you do travel a lot and want to explore new brands.
