LookFantastic Runway Ready Beauty Box

Sunday 5 February 2017

I haven't blogged about a beauty box in quite an age (there will be another coming up shortly ... it's not one to miss) but this months LookFantastic box is a bit of a standout for me so thought i'd report on it's content.

I've been subscribed to the LookFantastic boxes for about a year and although there's the odd duffer overall I have really enjoyed my monthly delivery. February's box is to celebrate Fashion Week by 'discovering the most opulent beauty products with innovative ingredients from the most luxurious on trend brands.' Lets see what's in the box:

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA £4.90 for 30ml  (Link)
A full size moisturiser infused with Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides and Glycerin to help hydrate and plump up the complexion. I have been so impressed with The Ordinary (and have a long list yet to try) so am bound to love this as it offers the ultimate hydration without being oily.

MyVitamins Catwalk Queen £12.99 for 60 capsules (Link)
This is when a beauty box comes in handy for me, they introduce products I probably wouldn't ever consider purchasing and 'beauty vitamins' aren't really something i'm convinced on so it will be good to give these a test. The Catwalk Queen supplements are a blend of vitamins, minerals and extracts to boost the natural appearance of your hair, skin and nails. Only time will tell if I can see a difference.

Borghese Fango Mud Mask in Brilliante £22.55 for 222ml (Link)
I love face masks so this is a lovely addition to the box, I think there's a few variations in different boxes the one I received was the Brilliante version which is a brightening treatment. These come in a big jar normally so it's nice to receive a individual capsule for when i'm away from home to give a try and I would be interested if they do sell these little pods to trial the other masks before committing to the big jar (Although £22.55 for 222ml is very reasonable).

This Works Stress Check Breathe In £16.00 for 8ml (Link)
This mini rollerball is the ultimate handbag addition for when you just need that second of calm in your day, rolling this potion onto your pressure points and then taking a big inhale of the scent will calm even the most stressed soul.

Polaar Icy Magic Roll On (I can't find this online, I think they're re-packaging the range)
This roll on eye cream leaves your eyes wide awake from the cooling the metallic roller ball, the formula de-puffs and helps with water retention in your eye area. I've given this a quick roll and it's so refreshing so definitely one for those mornings when you can't wake up.

Model Co Eye Lites Metallic Shadow (Again I can't find this online)
This is a gorgeous metallic copper eyeshadow, blended it makes the most stunning inner corner highlight or fully opaque is a gorgeous shadow. It claims to wear all night which I will definitely be testing out but for those nights when you want to stand out this is the perfect option.

I think this months box is a great selection of products, ones I would likely not purchase without having tried them first which is the reason I subscribe to beauty boxes. I think LookFantastic may have added the Polaar and Model Co products to the box as they're discontinued but if they're good products it doesn't make a difference to me. You can subscribe to the box from £13.00 per month (Link), I personally opt for the three month option and pay £14.50 per month so i'm not tied into the long commitment and so far have been more than happy with the deliveries so do recommend this subscription.
