FAVOURITES: May 2016

Tarte Tartlette Tease Palette (Link) £18.00
Since I bought this teeny eyeshadow palette I haven't used anything else, it contains all the shades needed for my perfect everyday makeup, it blends like a dream and i've actually notice the formula stays crease free a lot longer than most eyeshadows plus it's the perfect makeup bag size. Total winner and making me consider purchasing one of the larger Tarte eyeshadow palettes.

Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow (Link) £18.00
Now i'm not usually one for a Kim K contour, it's usually too much of an effort for my makeup routine however when I dug this cream pigment out of my stash I wondered why i'd neglected it for so long. This product makes contouring a doddle, literally stick your finger in, paint a stripe on your face and wiggle a bit over the line with said finger and boom a contour that could cut a bitch.

The Body Shop Shade Adjusting Drops (Link) £10.00
Hands up who buys foundation online without getting colour matched? ... My hand is definitely up. I should have learned my lesson by now but I haven't, and I should have learned that i'm a lot paler than I think I am. I have so many bottles of foundations sitting unloved because I was a little ambitious with my tan levels so these shade adjusting drops from The Body Shop are genius. One little drop and it transforms the shade without interfering with the formula and hey presto your foundation matches.

Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser (Link) £32.00 for 50ml - Glow on Demand Kit (Link) £39.00
I hadn't tried this skin care brand before so instead of choosing one product I thought i'd purchase their Glow on Demand kit to give a few of their star products a go before committing to the full size. The Regenerating Cleanser was the one cleanser from the line I thought I wouldn't like as it contains exfoliating granules which I tend not to enjoy (I'm an acid girl at heart) however I was pleasantly surprised, this really does give congested skin a kick up the arse and i've noticed my complexion has brightened and is a lot clearer since using it. I will definitely be purchasing the full size.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask (Link) £47.00 for £30ml
Now this product I knew i'd love in the Glow on Demand kit and I wasn't wrong, it's a gel mask that contains clay to draw out impurities, acids to help retexture your skin, aloe vera to sooth the skin and witch hazel to calm inflammation. I have been using this twice a week and it makes your skin so soft and look incredible the morning after using it. Again this is a definite full size purchase.

Ole Henriksen Pure Truth Youth Activating Oil (Link) £47.00 for 30ml
I think i've mentioned this oil before on my blog and I can't help raving again, this oil is the perfect addition to your skin care routine; it's lightweight, easily absorbed and when it comes to hydrating a dehydrated complexion it's the best. I apply this just before I go to bed once my night time skin care has been fully absorbed and it's like the final nightcap to make sure I wake up with plump, radiant and calm skin.

Let me know what you've been loving in May, I think the bank holidays are my ultimate fav though!
