Hadalabo Gokujyun Moist Lotion vs Premium Lotion

I have been using the Hadalabo HA lotions for years and the beauty community have finally caught on and singing the praises of these incredibly effective and affordable products. I wanted to compare the two because they are very different and suited to different skin types/preferences.

Hada Labo Gokujyun Moist Hyaluronic Acid Lotion
This is the entry level HA lotion in the range, it contains three weights of HA which are all able to penetrate different layers of the skin. The viscocity is slightly thicker than water so it is very lightweight and absorbs instantly into the skin, there is no smell and zero stickyness. At around £10 for 170ml it's amazing value.

Hada Labo Gokujun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Lotion
This is a step up from the standard, it contains five weights of HA. It's a lot thicker than the Moist lotion and takes a bit more time to absorb. Again there is no smell but this does leave some stickyness on the skin. This is around £12 for 170ml and again amazing value.

So who should use which? I would say all skin types can use both however the Premium lotion is better suited to dry skin and the moist lotion is better for dehdrated/normal/oily skin. This is purely based on the texture and the skin's ability to absorb the product, if you have dehdrated skin a couple of layers of the moist lotion would be more effective than one layer of the premium which is how I use it every night. I always have a bottle of the premium on hand if my skin is particularly dry or i've been using retinols and feel the flake coming on.

In terms of fitting them into a routine I use the moist lotion after my acid toner and before other serums/oils and the premium lotion I'd use it after light serums before oil/moisturiser. Are there any other comparisons you’d like to see?
