REVIEW: REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask

Thursday 7 March 2013

Hey Ladies,

More skincare for you now & today it is by REN and their Invisible Pores Detox Mask, I am a huge REN fan so my expectations are always high and I having not tried their masks before I was rather keen to slap this on my face.
REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask*
'A detoxifying clay mask designed to reduce the appearance of pore size and leave the skin purified, smooth and toned.'
I pull this mask out when my skin is looking congested and feeling like it needs a good exfoliation, it is a clay based mask which dries on the skin & you are supposed to rub it off.

The rubbing off action seriously disturbs me, it just feels wrong & awful ... of course I do it, the instructions tell me to & I do it with as much gusto as I can manage for as long as I can stand. It seriously makes me shudder. I then remove the rest with a warm cloth & it leaves my skin feeling so soft, smooth and immediately brighter also it tightens quite a bit too which is always a bonus.

One thing this doesn't do is dry my face out and it never feels uncomfortable when it's on & so even though it is designed for combination to oily skins if you have a bit of congestion & have normalish skin I think this would be suitable.

At £18 [LINK] I think it's a good price for an effective mask especially considering the ingredients as REN have a policy of no nasties in their skin care so there are no artificial fillers in this bottle. REN is widely available online & in department stores these days so it's nice & easy to get hold of.

Have you tried any REN products, what's your favourite? I personally love their Radiance Perfecting Serum [LINK] and dying to try their Purity Cleansing Balm, it's definitely next on my hit list.

  1. This sounds amazing! I have been looking at REN masks lately as I would love to try one :) I have now added this to my wishlist :) It's good it's not drying! I have an oily nose but some masks even make that dry which isn't good! :) xx Beauty Becky

  2. I've never tried any of the REN skincare line, so I think this mask should be good to start with. I've been using the Origins clay mask and it seems really similar, with the rubbing off action etc. I also want to try their Purity Cleansing Balm!
