REVIEW: Stila Aqua Glow Foundation
I have been using Stila cosmetics since I was about 19 and their perfecting concealer was actually the first 'high end' product I purchased for myself (using my student loan!), I don't think i've ever been disappointed by any of their products and since they came back to the market they are releasing some wonderful innovative formulas.
Their latest foundation is Aqua Glow, a featherweight water based formula which provides moisture, radiance and build-able coverage, blurring lines and imperfections for a youthful, luminous effect.
I have to agree with everything Stila claims for this foundation, it gives your skin the most beautiful luminosity with a light coverage which can be built up to a very light medium, it isn't the longest wearing foundation with my slightly oily skin so I tend to save this for my weekend makeup when i'm just pottering about and want to look polished without looking overly done. I would say drier skin types would love this as it doesn't cling to any dry patches and smooths over dehydrated complexions, but normal to oily skins would also get along with it using a touch of powder.
If you like tinted moisturisers and looking for a little more coverage I would highly recommend this foundation or like me if you wear a heavier coverage and want something a little more natural at times this is the base for you.
CultBeauty stock Stila and it's £34.50 for 30mls (Link) their new Metals collection looks divine and if you need a long wearing liquid lipstick Stila's are the top of my list for formula and longevity.
